Yacht Broker Capt. Rex Witkamp was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and began boating, surfing, fishing, and scuba diving at an early age. The ocean is part of everyday life in Florida, and in his early years, Rex fell in love with the water, certifying himself as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, fishing, and competition surfing throughout his college years. 

 

A lifelong passion for offshore fishing led to owning and operating his own fishing charter in the sportfishing capital of the world, Islamorada, Florida Keys. As a former Firefighter/Paramedic and aquatic media business owner, Rex’s attention to detail and work ethic have propelled his career in yachting by adding value and experience to his networks gained while working in the yachting industry. His ambition to inspire and motivate people has led him to become a published author and speaker.
